(Ouachita Parish, LA) - On April 6, 2026, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported shooting at 256 Buckhorn Bend Road.
Two individuals sustained gunshot wounds to their legs during a disturbance at the residence. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment and initially declined to provide details.
During the investigation, deputies identified Trevor Shaw as a third party involved in the incident. Shaw stated he discharged a firearm during the altercation, striking one individual, with the round also striking a second victim.
Shaw was transported to the OPSO Annex for questioning, where he was advised of his rights and provided a statement.
Based on the investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained for Shaw for two counts of Second-Degree Battery.
The investigation remains ongoing.
