TSA agents at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport are receiving paycheck relief as a partial government shutdown continues to affect workers nationwide.
Keesler Federal Credit Union has announced that it will be present on-site to assist agents in enrolling in a program that allows them to receive their salaries during the shutdown.
The paycheck relief is intended to help federal employees manage essential expenses while their regular paychecks are postponed.
Members of the credit union are represented on WWNO’s Board of Supervisors. This is a similar action taken during previous shutdowns.
