The University of Louisiana Monroe School of Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) invites the public to step into a world of magic, transformation, and timeless storytelling as Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella comes to life at the Brown Auditorium from March 26-29, 2026.
Featuring the music of Richard Rodgers and the lyrics and original story by Oscar Hammerstein II, this reimagined production also includes a fresh and contemporary book by Douglas Carter Beane—bringing new depth, humor, and heart to the classic fairy tale audiences know and love.
Under the direction of Dr. Prince Duren, this performance blends visuals, vocals, and storytelling that resonates with audiences of all ages.
Performances on Thursday, March 26, through Saturday, March 28, are at 7 p.m. The production closes with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, March 29. Tickets are $20 for general admission and $15 for ULM faculty and staff. ULM students will be admitted for free with a student ID.
