The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026, the outside (right) lane of I-20 westbound under the Nutland Road overpass in Monroe, Ouachita Parish will be closed.
This lane closure is scheduled to be in place until approximately 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2026.
This lane closure is necessary to allow DOTD crews to mobilize and replace a cross drain pipe that is located under I-20. Cross drain pipes ensure adequate and proper drainage through an area, helping to prevent roadway flooding.
Restrictions/Permits: No lane width restrictions for this operation.
Alternate Route: No detour necessary for this operation.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
