Northern Louisiana and many other states across the South are at high risk of severe thunderstorms from Monday, March 9th, to Wednesday, March 11th.
On Monday, the main risks are large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes.
Tuesday, there is a high risk of severe thunderstorms affecting Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, and Southwest Arkansas. This storm is expected to happen in the afternoon and extend into the evening. The main concern will be damaging wind gusts, but large hail and an isolated tornado are possible.
On Wednesday, an upper-level trough will move from west to east, potentially bringing damaging wind gusts, hail, and tornadoes to Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, Southwest Arkansas, and North Louisiana.
