WEST MONROE, LA – The City of West Monroe will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 3, to share a proposed amendment to the Make a Difference (MAD) Grant Program.
The public hearing will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3 at West Monroe City Hall located at 2305 N. 7th Street. Immediately following the public hearing will be a regularly scheduled meeting of the West Monroe Board of Aldermen. This meeting is open to the public.
The proposed amendment would reallocate $75,000 from the park improvements portion of the grant program and $225,000 from the Homebuyer Assistance Program to increase the total budget for the Homebuyer Rehabilitation Program to $700,000.
The hearing will provide residents, stakeholders and other interested parties an opportunity to:
- Learn about the proposed funding reallocation.
- Ask questions and provide public comment before final action is taken.
