The City of Monroe will host a Financial Empowerment Summit with nationally recognized personal finance expert Tiffany “The Budgetnista” Aliche on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10AM to 1PM. The event will be held at the Benoit Community Center, located at 1700 Oaklawn Drive, Monroe, LA 71202.
Aliche rose to national attention when her book, Get Good with Money, became The New York Times bestseller the week it was published. She is
also an Amazon #1 bestselling author of The One Week Budget and the Live
Richer Challenge series. The summit will give attendees practical tools to
make informed financial decisions, build wealth and start the year strong.
The event also marks the launch of the City’s CityStart Blueprint, connecting
residents to banking, homeownership and money-management resources.
