(Monroe, LA) – The City of Monroe opened a Warming Station at the Liller Marbles Community Center, located at 2950 Renwick Street, on Monday, January 12, 2026. The facility will remain operational while cold weather conditions persist.

The Warming Station is equipped with cots, Meals Ready-to-Eat (MREs) and water. It aims to provide a safe and comfortable environment for anyone seeking relief from the cold.

It is important to note that the Warming Station is not equipped to accommodate individuals with special medical needs or pets. Visitors to the facility are required to be ambulatory and able to care for themselves.
