The Land of Lights in Downtown West Monroe is opening on Thursday, November 20, 2025.
This is an experience for visitors and locals in Ouachita Parish to freely walk through a magical wonderland of light displays at the entrance at the Corner of Cotton and Pine Street in West Monroe.
Special appearances of Christmas characters will be available for photos on some Saturday nights during the holiday season. Three built in photo opportunities at the Land of Lights include a Greetings from Monroe-West Monroe postcard, large J-O-Y letters, and a Christmas tree seated area.
From November 20 – January 1, 2026, the lights are available for a walk-through each night at 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Free to the public to enjoy. For a peak at the display stay tuned into Discover Monroe-West Monroe’s Facebook page.
