CONWAY, S.C. – ULM fell to Coastal Carolina 23-8 on Saturday evening (Oct. 11), evening its season record at 3-3 and 1-1 in Sun Belt play.

Heavy rain and early mistakes hurt the Warhawks, who trailed 16-0 at halftime before scoring their lone touchdown in the third quarter.

Aidan Armenta went 14-of-28 for 176 yards, one touchdown, and an interception. Jonathan Bibbs led with 79 receiving yards and a touchdown. Braylon McReynolds rushed for 78 yards on 14 carries, including a 41-yard run.

Defensively, Lynard Harris had six tackles, and Jabari Tiller added five tackles, a sack, and three tackles for loss. David Godsey forced and recovered a fumble.

Despite 315 total yards and a lead in possession time, ULM struggled on third downs (1-of-14) and couldn’t capitalize on turnovers or red zone chances.

The Warhawks return home next Saturday (Oct. 18) to face Troy at 2 p.m. in Malone Stadium.
