Strauss Theatre Center brings the Peanuts to stage in with Charles M. Schulz inspired musical 'You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Through charming vignettes, audiences journey through a day in Charlie Brown's life—witnessing his kite mishaps, unrequited love, and baseball struggles—ultimately celebrating themes of kindness and friendship.
The cast includes Ben Matherne as the lovable Charlie Brown, Kylie Daigle as the outspoken Lucy, Sarah Siereveld as sprightly Sally, Matthew Scott as blanket-toting Linus, Brooke Bell as the imaginative Snoopy, and Taylor Michiels as Beethoven-loving Schroeder.
Directed by Wendy Wilson Ryland, with choreography by Greg Baccarini and music directed by Vickie Krutzer, the creative team ensures Schulz's humor and heartfelt storytelling shine. With book, music, and lyrics by Clark Gesner—and additions by Michael Mayer and Andrew Lippa—this nostalgic musical captures life’s ups and downs, as told through Charlie Brown’s uniquely relatable lens.
