West Monroe Police is investigating a Monday shooting, a police chase, and two deaths.

Police responded to reports of gunfire on Prune Street, where they discovered two female victims. Nineteen-year-old Emma Bueno was rushed to a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, while a juvenile female was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witness statements led officials to identify the suspect as 21-year-old Andricko Lamon Lewis Jr., reportedly Bueno’s ex-boyfriend. The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office located Lewis, who fled in one of the victim’s vehicles.

A police pursuit ensued and ended with Lewis found deceased in the vehicle from what authorities say was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
