“I’m honored to actively resume the role of Dean and once again serve the students, faculty, and staff of this incredible institution, as well as serving the community at large,” Morrison stated. “The VCOM mission has always been close to my heart, and I’m excited to continue working in Monroe and Northeast Louisiana to shape the future of osteopathic medical education and help to supply the physician needs of the state.”
VCOM-Louisiana is the first and only osteopathic medical college in Louisiana. Morrison's vision for the school includes strengthening partnerships with local institutions, including the University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM), which has been pivotal in the college's development.
