In a tribute to our nation's birthday, the Chief Tusquahoma Chapter of the DAR is set to host a flag event in downtown West Monroe. This celebration will feature the display of 249 American flags, symbolizing unity and patriotism within the community.
The flags will be displayed at 320 Cotton Street in downtown West Monroe. The event will kick off with a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 3 at 10 a.m. The flags will remain on display from July 3 to July 6.
The Chief Tusquahoma Chapter hopes that this display will inspire a sense of community and foster a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices made for our freedoms. By gathering together to honor the flag, participants will strengthen their bonds and celebrate the ideals that unite us as a nation.
