Earlier this year the City of Monroe announced Daniel Myers and Ashley Greer as the artists for the street mural on Art Alley in Downtown Monroe. The mural funded through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Thriving Communities Program, Main Street America is now complete.
Daniel and Ashley are lifelong residents of Monroe, bringing extensive experience to the Art Alley mural project. They have collaborated on over 30 murals, including works for the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council and private businesses.
The Downtown Monroe Art Alley mural is one of two large-scale public art installations funded through this program, with the second is located at the entrance of the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo
