Discover Monroe-West Monroe (DMWM) is inviting the community to attend Lunch & Paddle on the Bayou on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
Join DMWM for a morning paddle followed by lunch at Catahoula’s. The paddling and lunch will take place from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Paddlers will launch from Connerly’s Boat Dock, located at 7801 Desiard Street in Monroe. While paddling, enjoy a 1.5-mile scenic trip down Bayou Desiard to Catahoula’s. This trip will last approximately 45 minutes.
Event details include:
• Bring your own kayak. (No kayaks will be provided on-site)
• Need a rental? Contact Ouachita Paddle & Provisions ahead of time to reserve one for the event.
• Parking available at Connerly Boat Dock and First Christian Church Monroe.
• Free to paddle! Bring money for your lunch.
