The City of Monroe will host the 2025 Housing Fair & Expo on Saturday, May 31, 2025. The event is free and will be held at the Monroe Civic Center Abe Pierce Convention Center, 401 Lea Joyner Expressway, from 9 AM to 1 PM. The event aims to support individuals and families in achieving homeownership and securing housing stability.
Attendees can participate in expert-led workshops, browse a robust marketplace of industry professionals, including bankers, realtors, and housing specialists, and discover resources like homebuyer programs, down payment assistance, and grants for landlords and homeowners.
The event is sponsored by Centric Credit Union with key support from organizations such as the NELA Realtor’s Association, Monroe Housing Authority, Southside Economic Development District, and others.
Attendees will also have the chance to win exciting prizes, such as a $1,000 down payment assistance voucher.
