USA BMX Cajun Nationals pedals into West Monroe for 14th year

Hundreds of professional and amateur BMX riders from across the globe will descend on West Monroe for the national competition and USA Cycling Collegiate BMX Championships. Last year’s USA BMX Cajun Nationals at Ike Hamilton Expo Center brought in 2,822 attendees per day and over 670 athletes, representing 38 states and 2 countries.

"We are honored to host the USA BMX Cajun Nationals for the 14th time, and the addition of the BMX Collegiate Championship is a wonderful bonus for our community. We appreciate the trust that USA BMX has placed in Discover Monroe-West Monroe and our venue partner, Ike Hamilton Expo." said Scott Bruscato, Executive Vice President of Sales at Discover Monroe.

In addition to the regular national competition, the USA Cycling Collegiate BMX Championships will be welcoming BMX collegiate athletes from over five universities to compete head to head, representing their teams, racing for gold.

Races begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday, 9:30 a.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday, with participants racing well into the evening. Entry and parking is free, and fans are welcome to watch and cheer on their favorite riders.
