United Way NELA to host Bank On NELA Job Readiness Workshop on June 20

MONROE, LA – United Way of Northeast Louisiana is hosting a Bank On NELA Job Readiness Workshop on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

This workshop will help participants with building a resume, interview preparation, and soft skills.

The workshop will be held at the Miller Roy Building, located at 1001 Desiard Street, from 12 to 1 p.m.

Bank On Northeast Louisiana is a coalition of local partnerships between financial institutions, community organizations and city/state/federal government agencies that work to improve the financial stability of the unbanked and underbanked residents of our communities.

The objective of Bank On NELA is to improve financial stability by connecting residents to safe and affordable mainstream accounts in banks and credit unions, raising public awareness of these efforts and opportunities, and expanding access to financial education and other financial empowerment opportunities.

A native of West Monroe, Lexi is a junior at the University of Louisiana Monroe where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in communications.
