Friends of Black Bayou will host an Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Black Bayou Lake NWR. The event will feature a day of outdoor activities for children and adults. There will be animal exhibits, trivia, crafts, painting, and nature walks.
Canoes and Kayaks will be available for rental. There will be a $10 fee for the Plein Air painting class.
