BLEND returns with art, food, and fun

BLEND, the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council's premier fundraising event featuring food, libations & fine art is back on the bayou! BLEND will be held on Island Drive in Monroe on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 5:00-7:30PM.

The "biggest party on the bayou" will feature local men and women who cook, local and legendary restaurant chefs, live music, drinks by local sponsors and a silent auction of original works by Region 8 artists! BLEND is set to be the top fundraising event of the year. Awards will be given to “Best of Blend – Restaurant” & “Best of Blend – Home Cook”. Ticket proceeds benefit the Arts Council of Northeast Louisiana's programs and services.

President of the Arts Council, Barry Stevens, joins Cory Crowe on KEDM's Lagniappe.

Originally from Monroe, Cory has worked in a variety of media. He has worked in television news and spent seven years as a TV sports play-by-play announcer. He was also creative director for a television advertising department and worked extensively as a photojournalist. Cory has lived in both Dallas and New Orleans.
