(Monroe, LA) - Mayor Friday Ellis announces that City of Monroe facilities will be closed on Friday, March 29, in observance of Good Friday. The City will reopen on Monday, April 1.
Trash pickup normally scheduled for Friday, March 29, has been moved to Wednesday, March 27.
The Monroe Transit System will also halt bus services Friday, March 29, in observance of Good Friday. Regular bus services will resume Saturday, March 30.
