City of West Monroe to continue “Take West Monroe to the Next Level” speaker series on Thursday, March 21 featuring Dr. Christopher Clark

WEST MONROE – The City of West Monroe will continue its “Take West Monroe to the Next Level” speaker series on Thursday, March 21.

The series continues on Thursday, March 21 at 8 a.m. at the West Monroe Convention Center. The featured speaker will be Dr. Chrisopher Clark, a Louisiana board certified family medicine physician and faculty member at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) in Monroe on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus.

In addition to serving as a VCOM faculty member, Dr. Clark also works at a family medicine clinic at CommuniHealth in Bastrop. He will speaking on “Healthy lifestyle recommendations and modifications to decrease the prevalence of disease.”

This speaker series is part of the city’s “Take West Monroe to the Next Level” campaign which was launched in 2021 as a way to activate the community with ways that individuals, businesses and organizations can personally elevate West Monroe. The series will continue in April and May.

“I encourage all people to attend this informative series,” said West Monroe Mayor Staci Mitchell. “Each speaker will present ways that all of us can work together to make West Monroe an even better place to work and raise our families. Whether you are a resident, business owner, student or concerned citizen, make the time to attend this series and be part of the positive momentum in our community.”

These events are all free to the public. A light breakfast will be served.
