The Phantom Tollbooth

"I've been really happy to get to come to Stauss Youth Academy for the Arts because I had a small hand in its founding years ago," said Cathy Webb, "It's been exciting to see everyone get back to work after the pandemic."

The Phantom Tollbooth tells the story of Milo. A young boy who is bored with his life until he finds a box that transports him to a magical world where he finds adventure and excitement as well as meeting characters such as the princesses Rhyme and Reason, and Talk and Humbug. The play is based on the 1961 Novel written by Norman Juster.

Originally from Monroe, Louisiana, Blaine McKeithen is a Communications major at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He plays the drums and spends most of his time making music with friends, along with music and video editing. He believes that his time is best spent creating things that can be shared with others.
