Louisiana Purchase Zoological Society presents Boo at the Zoo, a local event where members of the community can take part in Budgie and Tortoise feeding, animal encounters and a petting zoo. Boo at the Zoo also features boat and train rides, a costume contest at noon at the Pavillion, shopping and food vendors, a photo booth, as well as trick or treat tables throughout the zoo.
The event will be held at the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo on Saturday, October 28 from 10a.m. to 1p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $6 for children ages 2-12. Ages 1 and under are no cost. Boat rides will be $5 and train rides $3. Cash is recommended.
