New Iona Presbyterian Church holds first "Kirkin' Celtic Sunday" worship service

New Iona Presbyterian Church will be holding their first ever "Kirkin Celtic Sunday", a traditionally Celtic worship service on the church grounds at 1402 Wellerman Road West Monroe, Louisiana. The event begins at 11a.m. and lasts until noon.

The service is open to all and will feature a performance during the service by Emerald Accent, an Irish music group from Mississippi, as well as a family BBQ picnic including more music from Emerald Accent along with the "Wee Highland Games" games immediately after the service.

Originally from Monroe, Louisiana, Blaine McKeithen is a Communications major at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He plays the drums and spends most of his time making music with friends, along with music and video editing. He believes that his time is best spent creating things that can be shared with others.
