2022 Bayou Jamb

The Bayou Jamb Media Day took place on Monday, August 21 at the Don Shows Fieldhouse in West Monroe, LA. Coaches from the fourteen participating teams addressed the media, and each school will brought two of its top players. Special guests in attendance included Bayou Jamb Lifetime Achievement Award Honoree Coach Jerry Arledge, Super Bowl Champion Strength Coach Travis Crittenden, and high school football coaches and players.

Due to the excessive heat this week, two of the games originally scheduled for Saturday have been moved to Thursday night. Jonesboro Hodge will play against St. Frederick at 6 p.m. Thursday, followed by Cedar Creek taking on Mangham at 8 p.m.

The Bayou Jamb is a three-day event featuring fourteen high schools and seven match-ups. The event kicks off on Thursday, August 24, and runs through Saturday, August 26. Gates open at 5 pm on Thursday and Friday and 3 pm on Saturday. All tickets for Saturday scheduled games that were moved to Thursday will be honored on Thursday. This includes VIP tickets, online tickets, and tickets purchased at the school.

Fans can enjoy signature events such as Champion Square Tailgate, Fan Jamb Pregame Live, Media Day, Character Counts School Tour, Salute to Service, and Taste of the Tailgate Cook-Off. For extended details, a calendar of events, and to purchase tickets, visit the Bayou Jamb website or download the Bayou Jamb app on Apple Store or Google Play.
