Ouachita Green, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of Ouachita Parish, has announced the appointment of Sheila Kay Downhour as its new Director. Downhour brings with her a wealth of experience in branding, communication, public relations, and community involvement, having worked with several companies in the Ouachita Parish area.

As the umbrella organization for Keep Monroe, Keep Ouachita Parish, and Keep West Monroe Beautiful, Ouachita Green is committed to protecting the environment and participating in community projects that make the parish a cleaner and greener place for all to enjoy. With Downhour's leadership, the organization is poised to continue its important work in improving the community.
