North Louisiana has recently been hit by floods, tornadoes and other unexpected disasters. Tuesday May 21, 90.3 KEDM Public Radio held Policy and a Pint: Preparing for Disaster.

Our panel of experts fielded your questions and provided tips for preparing and recovering from disaster.  The event was be held at Miro's On The River, at 201 Walnut Street in Monroe.

Originally from Monroe, Cory has worked in a variety of media. He has worked in television news and spent seven years as a TV sports play-by-play announcer. He was also creative director for a television advertising department and worked extensively as a photojournalist. Cory has lived in both Dallas and New Orleans.
