The event is part of Love the Boot Week, a statewide initiative aimed at litter removal and community beautification. Organizers said the event offers residents and businesses a secure and environmentally friendly way to dispose of confidential documents.

Participants may bring up to four boxes of paper per person or business to be professionally shredded and recycled. The service is offered at no cost.
