West Monroe Goes Online With Virtual Brown Bag Concerts

The West Monroe - West Ouachita Chamber of Commence has held the West Monroe Brown Bag Concert Series for years. Due to COVID-19 the event is moving online and to 90.3 KEDM Public Radio. 

West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce President Lila Strode and musician Josh Madden say the event will feature multiple musicians on each episode.

Concerts will premiere each Wednesday in May at noon at westmonroechamber.org and will be available at viewer's convience until Saturday.  90.3 KEDM Public Radio will air the concerts each Sunday in May at 6 p.m.

The series is a tribute to honor the musicians and artists lost in 2020.

Originally from Monroe, Cory has worked in a variety of media. He has worked in television news and spent seven years as a TV sports play-by-play announcer. He was also creative director for a television advertising department and worked extensively as a photojournalist. Cory has lived in both Dallas and New Orleans.
