KEDM's HD Radio Signal Silenced By Equipment Failure

90.3 KEDM Public Radio's HD radio signal is currently off air due to an equipment failure. The failure does not hinder FM reception to 90.3 KEDM-FM.

KEDM2 Ideas talk programming is currently only available via our online stream by clicking on the listen live link on the top  of this webpage.

Technical note: KEDM was one of the pioneers in digital radio broadcasting. Before the signal is sent through KEDM's transmitter it runs through a device known as an HD Radio Importer.

KEDM's HD radio importer was the 4th one made by our transmitter manufacturer in Canada. The damaged HD Radio importer is making a quick 2 week trip to a Nova Scotian transmitter rehab facility and then KEDM1 HD and KEDM2 Ideas will return to the air.

Meanwhile, you can stream both KEDM and KEDM2 Ideas from our website.
