Ronald McDonald House Brings Anglers for Big Bass Tournament

The 28th Annual Ronald McDonald House Big Bass fishing tournament is this weekend, June 8th and 9th. The tournament starts at 7 a.m. and features many opportunities for participants to win monetary prizes.  

The contest features prizes for the largest bass per hour, prizes for largest tournament bass overall, McDonald’s Challenge prizes, student challenge prizes, a prize for the first exact “6.00” lb. Bass, and drawings for 3 separate cash prizes.

The tournament being the only fishing tournament that benefits Ronald McDonald House of Northeast Louisiana, the entry fee is also tax deductible. Participants can register at The Honey Hole, Toledo Tackle, The Ronald McDonald House, or online at www.rmhbigbass.com

The tournament has grown into one of the largest tournaments in Louisiana. Funds raised allow the Ronald McDonald House provide economic housing to those who have loved ones in local hospitals.
