Dr. Monteic A. Sizer

The Northeast Delta HSA is holding Faith Partnership Leadership Training at the North Monroe Baptist Churh on January 26, 9 AM- 4 PM. The Faith Partnership Initiative was created by Northeast Delta Human Services Authority to educate, equip and provide resources to faith leaders to address substance abuse, prevention, support and recovery needs their congregations.

Dr. Monteic A. Sizer, Executive Directoer, would like to help people no matter what level of education, economic class, skin color, or sexual orientation. "Mental health and addiction affect us all."

They engage faith-based communities in their efforts because of the contributions they know they can make to help stabilize traditional mental health services. Along with reaching out to citizens through faith-based approaches, they want clergy leaders to better understand their own challenges along with the challenges of their congregations. Faith can offset hopelessness, and with coordinated resources, they will be able to help our region grow and prosper to its full potential.
