Swartz Man Arrested After Driving Down Train Tracks
Swartz resident Ernest D. Davis was arrested on multiple charges after a Louisiana State Trooper found him and his vehicle stopped on train tracks on Swartz School Road.
Davis failed a sobriety test that the trooper gave him but did not have alcohol in his system. The trooper reported that Davis had slurred speech and poor balance. Davis later admitted to smoking marijuana dipped in an unknown substance.
Davis was taken to Ouachita Correctional Center where he was charged with driving while intoxicated and careless operation. His bond is set at $1,250.
