Thursday April 20th, the University of Louisiana Monroe Alumni Association holds its signature event, Wine Over Water. The main event will be held at the ULM Bridge from 7 to 10 p.m.
Wine Over Water is the largest fundraiser the ULM Alumni Association holds during the year. This event raises money for the Spirit of The Warhawk Scholarship. The Spirit of the Warhawk Scholarship helps reduce the costs of attending ULM for local students.
The party will officially begin at 5:30 p.m. with the Patron Party in Scott's Plaza. Tickets to the Patron Party are $125 and include your ticket to the Bridge Party, which is $60. The bridge party will begin at 7:00 p.m. and include vendors from over 20 local restaurants and drinks provided by Southern Glacier's Wine and Spirits and Marsala Beverage. Music will be provided by Dr. Zarr’s Amazing Funk Monster Band and there will be boat rides available on the bayou. All guests will receive a commemorative wine glass.
