Books will be organized by genre and author to make them easier to find.

The Monroe Symphony League is hosting their Spring Book Sale this Saturday and Sunday, March 4th and 5th, and again the following weekend.  The Book Sale will take place in two buildings located at 320 North 4th Street.

The Spring Book Sale will have books of all categories from cookbooks to fantasy to nonfiction and are priced at about a tenth of the retail price with some books for only a dime. Along with books, there will also be magazines, sheet music, and CDs.

The Monroe Symphony League is a non-profit organization that helps promote the support of music in the Northeast Louisiana area. The League helps fund the Monroe Symphony Orchestra, the Majorie Stricklin Emerging Artist's Competiton, and the Sound Safari program in local schools.

The sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Donations are accepted every Wednesday.
