Howl At The Hangar this Saturday

Howls and holiday costumes are set to add to the atmosphere at Howl At The Hangar.  The fundraiser Saturday benefits the Humane Adoption Center of Monroe.

Center Director Ellen Hicks expects the occasion to be a frightfully good time.  "We'll have a best costume contest for men and women and lots of prizes available with our silent auction," said Hicks.  Items include hunting and fishing trips, spa packages, artwork, gift certificates, and more.

Food is provided by several area restaurants and music from Dr. Zarr's Amazing Funk Monster.

Proceeds benefit the adoption center, which finds stable, loving homes for animals in need.  The center's work includes the Second Kennels program, where troubled juveniles are given the opportunity to care and nurture a sheltered animal.
