The Ruston Farmers Market presents its last Saturday of the season tomorrow.

The downtown collection of growers, vendors, and artists bring an assortment of local produce, specialty items and crafts to close out the summer.  "We're expecting a supply of watermelons, tomatoes, squash, and several others to be available," says RFM member Jean McWeeney.

In addition to local products, some workers with North Central Louisiana Arts Council will host an art activity for children.  "They have done a wonderful job with different projects to entertain area children through the season, says McWeeney.

The fall season of the market is expected to open in mid-October in a new location.  McWeeney says renovation of a downtown building is near completion.  The site is a co-op endeavor between the RFM and the city of Ruston.
