Seven local businesses were honored Tuesday by the West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce during its annual small business awards luncheon and Member2Member Expo.
Taking honors were Kilpatrick Funeral Home - Community Champion Award; Jennifer Zimmerman with Delta Benefit Consulting - Emerging Entrepreneur Award; Lori Rockett with Reflections - Female Champion Award; Hamilton House Inn & Gallery - Micro Business Award; Matt’s Music - Small Business Award; Ken Fletcher with Fletcher Financial Group - Silver Plus Award; and Janie Russ with Southern Hospitality - Lifetime Service Award.
Chamber President Courtney Hornsby says the annual awards presentation is an opportunity to recognize some of the small businesses that play a vital role in the economic vitality of the community.
Pat Witty, Director of Small Business and Community Services for Louisiana Economic Development, was the keynote speaker during the luncheon at the West Monroe Convention Center.
