Ruston, LA —October 12th 6:00pm-13th at 6:00pm— The Epsilon Pi Chapter of Delta Delta Delta (Tri Delta) at Louisiana Tech University is proud to announce our upcoming philanthropy event, 5K in a Day, an ambitious 24-hour fundraising initiative aimed at raising $5,000 in a single day for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
What Is 5K in a Day?
5K in a Day is a chapter-wide effort to engage students, alumni, and the local community in making a direct impact. Over the course of 24 hours, members rally donations through social media campaigns and campus outreach with the goal of collecting $5,000. Every dollar raised goes directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is a world leader in pediatric cancer research and treatment. Families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food—so they can focus solely on helping their child during their treatment journey. In addition to lifesaving medical care, St. Jude shares its groundbreaking research freely, ensuring children worldwide benefit from every discovery.
Every contribution brings us closer to a world where no child dies from cancer. 5K in a Day is our way of
standing with the families at St. Jude and ensuring they receive the care and hope they deserve.
How to Support
Donations can be made online at https://fundraising.stjude.org/site/TR/DDD/DDD?pg=entry&fr_id=160313 and community members are invited to follow the chapter’s social media pages throughout the day for live updates on fundraising milestones.
