The Fright Night 5K takes place from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Flying Tiger Brewery (506 N. 2nd Street), with the course winding through the heart of Downtown Monroe and plenty of spooky surprises along the way. It is family-friendly and open to runners and walkers alike. Registration is $40 (plus sign-up fees) and closes at 6:00 p.m. on race day, and includes a custom finisher medal, age group awards, a costume contest, and a free drink from Flying Tiger Brewery. Jackson Culp and The Company take the stage at 7:30 p.m. to keep the celebration going after the finish line. Proceeds support the Downtown Monroe Main Street Volunteer Board, which hosts and supports events that bring the downtown community together.
