http://www.masurmuseum.org/BookingRetrieve.aspx?ID=124168
Variety is an intergenerational event that happens five times a year through the MAsur Museum.

Saturday September 16th, the Masur Museum of Art is hosting its Variety event at the Monroe Regional Airport from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Variety is true to its name combining art, education, and entertainment for this event.

The Monroe Regional Airport is becoming not only a place of travel but a home to local culture. Saturday the airport will not only hold travelers, but also art, live music, and a cabaret show. Throughout the event there will be face painting, a children's drop in activity to paint wooden airplanes, and an opportunity to learn how to fold three different paper airplanes and to paint and build a mini house magnet. Local artist Rhyan Emery Taylor will be on site transferring photos from print to metal and wood.

Refreshments for the event will be provide by RoeLa Roasters and Kona Ice and can be enjoyed while listening to the entertainment for the day. There will be live music by the Implosion Percussion Group from 3:00 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. and a Cabaret Show featuring Disney and Broadway tunes at 4:00 p.m. performed by talents from Strauss Youth Academy for the Arts.

Tickets to Variety are free as well as parking for the event. More information on Variety and all that the Masur Museum does can be found here.
