Gallery Crawl Stimulates a Creativity Community

February's Gallery Crawl is the first of 2017.

Thursday, February 2nd the Downtown Gallery Crawl is starting back up for the new year. From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.  downtown Monroe and West Monroe will be open for those searching for artwork and a good time. 

This month's crawl will include ten galleries across the Monroe and West Monroe area. The Big Room Gallery and the Upstairs Gallery are collaborating to display artwork from some of Louisiana Tech's art students. Other galleries in the crawl include, the Outside Gallery, the Palace Gallery, and the Arender Gallery. 

The Outside Gallery will have have a temporary mural painted and an interactive part of the art. KEDM will be at the Palace Gallery, and the Arender Gallery will have an exhibition by Courtney Payne Wetzel in block printing. Golf carts will be provided to bring crawlers from one stop to the next.
