Mistaken Identity, Wise Fools Take Stage in Twelfth Night

The Twelfth Night is the end of Christmas celebrations.

CA Studio and Lea's of LeCompte are presenting Shakespeare's Twelfth Night January 13-14 and 20-21. This classic Shakespeare comedy will be portrayed in a more modern fashion as a dinner theatre.

Twelfth Night is the story of two identical boy and girl twins who end up in the same place, completely unaware of each others presence. The play has its share of mistaken identity, exaggerated love, wise fools, and foolish authority figures to carry itself through the loops of a Shakespearean comedy.

Lea's of LeCompte will be providing the food and venue for the dinner and dessert theatre. In the usual fashion of Cathy Airhart Webb's productions there is always a twist -- Twelfth Night is no exception; the actors and actresses will be creating more humor through involving the audience. "You'll never know when someone will stalk up to your table and tell you, 'you are using the cutlery wrong,'" says Webb.

Tickets to Twelfth Night can be reserved by calling Lea's at 318-329-8081. More information on this play and CA Studio can be found here.
