Black and White Ball Aids Center for Children and Families

The Black and White Ball is Saturday and will help children who have been exposed to violence.

Patrons will dress in their finest for The Black & White Ball to raise money and awareness for The Children's Advocacy Center (CAC).  There will be live music from The Rockin' Dopsie Band and cuisine along with a silent auction.

The CAC of Northeast LA serves children who have been sexually or severely physically abused, or have witnessed a violent crime. It provides a child-friendly supportive environment in which all required examinations, interviews, and assessments needed for prosecution efforts can be conducted by highly trained experts at no expense to the family.  Before the CAC opened its doors, child victims had share their experience over and over again to several different agencies and officials. The CAC works for best interest of the child in a way that will minimize trauma, get to the truth, and provide testimony and evidence that will hold up in court.

The event will be held at The Bayou DeSiard Country Club, For information visit http://www.standforhope.org/black--white-ball.html
