The Masur Museum opens it doors and grounds for it's third pARTy 318 event Thursday.

Masur Museum Executive Director Evelyn Stewart says it has grown into a fun, casual after work event.  "We started with a focus on having young professionals in the area get to know Masur.  The party has helped grow more interest in the programs and other sessions hosted by the museum throughout the year,"

The social gathering features food, beverage, and live entertainment.  "We'll have four food trucks from area vendors, plus a good selection of beer and wines," said Masur Museum Curator Ben Hickey.

Guests can also enjoy viewing entries of Masur's 52nd Annual Juried Competition currently on display at the museum.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. at the museum, located on South Grand Street in Monroe.
