Brown Bag Concerts Bring Mix of Local Talent

Local musicians share their talent with community members on Wednesdays in April as part of the Northeast Louisiana Arts Council Brown Bag Concert Series.

Council member Georgia Street says the series highlights a variety of musical styles.  "It brings folk, jazz, alternative,country, and contemporary music from some incredible musicians in our area," said Street.

The series kicks off with the duo of Tommy Fields and Tyler Christiana on Wednesday, April 8.

The concert is held at Anna Gray Noe Park across from St. Francis Medical Center.  

Chairs are provided for the concert. Free lemonade and cookies are available for audience members.
