City of West Monroe to host tree lighting ceremony Nov. 30

WEST MONROE – The City of West Monroe will host its Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Tuesday, November 30.
The ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. at the West Monroe City Hall parking lot located at 2305 N. 7th Street.

The public is invited to view the official lighting of the City Hall Christmas Tree as well as several live Christmas Trees decorated by local schools and organizations.

The event will include the singing of Christmas Carols by local musicians and complimentary cookies and cocoa. Children are encouraged to drop off their letters to Santa Claus. The lighting ceremony is free and open to the public.

Attendees are asked to bring donations of new, unwrapped toys to place under the City Hall Christmas Tree. Donated items will be distributed to needy families by the West Monroe Fire and Police Departments.
