OPSO deputies responded to a report of a body behind a building in the 300 block of Smith Street in West Monroe at approximately 9:50 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2024.
The body of a white male was found at the location. Foul play is not suspected, however an investigation into the circumstances of the death is underway. An autopsy is pending.
The identity is not being released at this tine.
